Guided Breathing

Breathe & Be Still

A quiet moment to return to yourself. Choose your rhythm, follow the light as it rises and falls, and let your breath slow.

Beautifully done. Carry this calm with you.

How to use this breathing space

Find a comfortable seat, let your shoulders soften, and rest your hands in your lap. Choose a rhythm and a length above, then press begin. As the circle of light grows, breathe in slowly; as it holds, stay still; as it shrinks, release your breath. There’s nothing to force — simply follow the light and let it carry your attention away from the noise of the day.

The three rhythms

Calm (4-4-4-4) is box breathing, used to steady the nervous system and quiet a busy mind — breathe in for four, hold for four, out for four, hold for four. Relax (4-7-8) is a deeply soothing pattern that lengthens the exhale, wonderful before sleep or to release tension. Simple (4-4) is the gentlest place to begin, an even breath in and out with no holds.

Why a few minutes matters

Slow, intentional breathing gently shifts the body out of stress and into rest. Even a short daily practice can ease anxiety, sharpen focus, and soften the edges of a difficult day. Consistency matters more than length — a calm two minutes each morning does more than a rare long session.

A moment of stillness before a reading

Many find that a few slow breaths before drawing a card or reflecting on their chart brings a clearer, more open state of mind. When the body is settled and the thoughts have quieted, intuition has room to speak. Consider beginning your time here before you turn to the tarot or the stars.
