Page of Wands
“Not knowing where you’re going is not a problem. It’s the whole point of the adventure.”
General Meaning
The Page of Wands stands in a barren landscape, gazing up at their wand with pure wonder — not intimidated by the emptiness around them, but inspired by the potential. This card embodies the spirit of the beginner: enthusiastic, curious, and unencumbered by what’s already been tried.
An exciting message or new idea is arriving. You are being called to explore without needing all the answers first. Let curiosity lead. The Page does not ask if the path is proven — only if it is alive.
In Love & Relationships
A playful, exciting new connection may be arriving — someone creative, free-spirited, and full of life. In existing relationships, the Page of Wands asks you to rediscover the spark of early love: be playful, be spontaneous, flirt again. Send the unexpected message. Plan something new. Let yourself be excited.
In Career & Finances
A new creative project, an exciting job offer, or a bold new direction is presenting itself. The Page of Wands says: explore it. You don’t need to have the whole plan. Follow the excitement. This is a card of internships, apprenticeships, side projects, and creative leaps of faith. Your enthusiasm is your most powerful credential right now.
Spiritually
The Page of Wands invites you to approach your spiritual path with fresh eyes. Try a new practice, ask new questions, read something outside your usual framework. Spiritual growth often comes not from mastery, but from returning to the beginner’s mind with genuine curiosity.
Reversed Meaning
Reversed, the Page of Wands is enthusiasm without a channel — restlessness, boredom, ideas sparking and dying for lack of follow-through, or a creative voice silenced by the fear of looking foolish. The remedy is play, not pressure. Give curiosity one small, low-stakes adventure and let it remember what it is for.
Advice
Follow the thing that excites you — even if you can’t justify it yet. Especially if you can’t justify it yet.
